Interprovincial Novitiate in Lubaszowa/Podoliniec

By decree of the General Government, from 2016 all Novitiates in our Congregation are to be Interprovincial Novitiates.

Therefore the Board for the Interprovincial Novitiate in Lubaszowa (Poland) met in Stara Lubovnia (Slovakia) on 13 July 2016.

The Board is composed of: the Conference Coordinator; the Provincial from Warsaw; the Viceprovincials from: Bratislava and Michalovce (and the Provincial from Prague and the Regional Superior from Region of St. Gerard).

The participants discussed and prepared the Directory of the Interprovincial Novitiate, which will be sent to the Superior General with the request to approve it.

The Interprovincial Novitiate will start on 14 August 2016 and eight novices from the Warsaw Province and two from the Bratislava Viceprovince will start their common formation in Lubaszowa.

According to the decision of the Superior General, every Unit must participate in an Interprovincial Novitiate Board even if it does not have novices in the Interprovincial Novitiate.
