Council of CRE in Italy and Albania

The meeting of the Council of CRE took place in Rome (Italy) and in Tirana-Kamez (Albania) from 30th June to 5th July.
Pedro Lopez, Johannes Roemelt, Piotr Sulkowski and Jacek Zdrzalek met to discuss and oversee the preparations for the common meetings of the CRE which will be held in coming months: Common preparation for perpetual vows in Tuchów (Poland); REDCAMP in Venice (Italy), Astorga Pilgrim House (Spain), Meeting of Formators from CRE in Dublin (Ireland), Assembly of CRE in Porto (Portugal), Meeting of the Redemptorist Laity in Madrid (Spain).
Much time was dedicated to the preparation for the first phase of the General Chapter which will be held in April 2016.
The Council spent three days with the members of the Interprovincial Community in Albania (Laureano del Otero Sevillano, Dominic O’Toole, Andrzej Michoń). Our missionaries from Albania shared with the Council about their lives and challenges during their evangelization work.
There is the great joy that the Redemptorists from many European Units want to be involved in some vacation evangelization and social projects in our parishes in Albania (language courses, music workshop, pastoral practices etc.)
