The 150th Anniversary of the Icon of Our Mother of Perpetual Help

Greetings from the Shrine of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Madrid!
We are now in a position to forward the program for the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Jubilee -Celebrations in Madrid, May 3rd – 7th, 2017. The commission finalized the program at a meeting with representatives from some provinces and a group of lay people from Madrid on January 14th.
There was a strong sense at the meeting that the gathering in May should be more about the future than the past and that it should inspire us all – Redemptorists and coworkers – to meet the cultural challenges of our time with new methods of communications as St Alphonsus did in his time. The meeting should provide us with opportunities of learning from each other and for sharing resources.
We are hoping that each unit will be represented by both Redemptorists and lay coworkers. The cost will be €275 – with the possibility of a discount for units who can’t easily afford this – and this will cover the full costs of the celebrations (accommodations, materials, translation service, etc). The closing date for applications will be March 31st.
