Common Studendate of the CRE

The Formation Secretariat of the CRE met in Rome on the 11th and 12th of June 2016. Present were Jacek Zdrzalek (chairman and coordinator of the CRE) Maurizio Iannuario (Naples Province), Metod Lukacik (Michalovce Vice Province) and Ronald McAinsh (London Province).

The main work of this meeting was to coordinate the research done on the projected common theologate of the Conference. Details concerning location, places of study, formation personnel and costs were agreed and the coordinator will write a letter to all the Unit leaders with the details. It seems that this is possible and worthwhile initiative.

The Secretariat also looked at the proposed common Interprovincial Novitiates in the Conference and the Coordinator will be present at the common Novitiate boards. The meeting of the Board for Warsaw, Michalovce, Bratislava, Prague and Region of Saint Gerard will be held on 13 July 2016 in Stara Lubovnia (Slovakia).

Time was also given to a discussion on the course in Slovakia for preparation for Final Vows and for those in ministry for 10 years. Preparations are proceeding well and the course will begin in July.

The Secretariat will meet again in December or January to produce a Ratio Formationis and a Directory for the new common theologate.
