Congress on 150th anniversary of entrusting the Icon of OMPH

The second meeting of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Preparatory Commission of the CRE was held in Rome (in San Gioacchino community) from 23 to 26 November 2015. The preparations of all European events, connected to the 150th anniversary of entrusting the Icon of the Mother of Perpetual Help to Redemptorists, were discussed.
One of the most important moment of the celebration will be the International Congress in the shrine of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Madrid, which will be held from 2 to 7 May 2017.
The members of the Preparatory Commission: Fr. Marek Kotynski (Warsaw Province), Fr. Seamus Enright (Dublin Province) and Fr. Jorge Ambel (Madrid Province) have prepared a detailed program of the Congress. This programme, designed by the model of Marian spirituality (to listen – to think – to act), will focus on the Gospel message inscribed on the Icon and it invites the Redemptorists and the lay people for evangelization.
