Common preparation before Perpetual Vows in the CRE
For the fourth time we invite our formandee from all the Units in the CRE for the common preparation before the Perpetual Vows. This year the formators from the Viceprovince of Bratislava are in charge of this preparation.
The Interprovincial Month of Spiritual Renewal for the Redemptorist Conference of Europe will take place in Redemptorist Community House in Kostolna-Záriečie, Slovakia (8 km from Trenčin, 125 km from Bratislava) from July 4th to August 2nd, 2016. It begins on Monday, July 4th at 6.00 pm.
The course will be conducted in English, Italian and Polish with translation being available into these languages.
We offer and recommend this opportunity also to any confrere from the CRE who may be in Transition to Ministry, or is in ministry for less than ten years, as a special experience of the internationality of the Congregation. The special time reserved for them is from the 4th until 16th July 2016.
During the last week the participants will go to Kraków (Poland) where they will participate in the World Youth Day.
The Formation Secretariat of the Conference of Europe is impressed by the holistic approach in terms of topics covered: our history, Constitutions, spirituality, moral theology, areas of psychology and human development, cooperation with the laity, youth ministry and other related areas. Visits to places of interest connected with our Redemptorist life and with culture are also part of the experience.

18-20.07 – New Evangelization; collaboration with the laity; (Fr. Michal Zamkovsky, Bratislava)
21-23.07 – Redemptorist pastoral work with migrants and in hospitals; (Fr. David Horáček, Prague, Jozef Michalčík, Prague)
24.07 – Trip to Poland for World Youth Day in Kraków
26-31.07 – World Youth Day in Kraków (27.07 – Alphonsian Day with the Superior General)
1.08 – Feast of Saint Alphonsus (in the Redemptorist seminary in Tuchów/Poland)
2.08 – Day of the departure
If participants are travelling by plane, they can choose two airports: Bratislava (in Slovakia) or Vienna (in Austria). They will be collected from the airport – a person with a CSSR sign will wait in the arrival area. The Viceprovince of Bratislava will prepare and inform the Major Superiors of the CRE about the costs during the First Phase of the General Chapter in April 2016.
