The meeting concerning the Jubilee of OMPH in the CRE.

The first meeting of the “contact persons” from various Units from the CRE concerning the preparations for the 150th anniversary of receiving the Icon of Our Mother of Perpetual Help was held from 14th to 15th April 2015 in Warsaw (Poland).
There were the several representatives from seven European Units. Fr. Juventius Andrade (General Consulter ) and Fr. Marek Kotyński (the member of the Central Commission of the Jubilee – Warsaw Province) were the hosts of that meeting.
Henk Erinkveld (St. Clement Province), Jim McManus (London Province), Jorge Galan Ambel (Madrid Province), Gennaro Sorrentino (Naples Province), Vito Lombardi (Rome Province), Robert Režný (Bratislava Viceprovince) and Miroslav Cajka (Michalovce Viceprovince) took part in that meeting in Warsaw. Unfortunately due to the situation in Ukraine, Fr. Petro Baran (from Lviv Province) did not received a visa for Poland.
The participants discussed how to deepen the message and the aim of this Jubilee at the level of the Conference as well as at the level of the Units. There were new ideas about some particular programmes in various Units as well as proposals for closer cooperation among the Units and common celebrations at Conference level.
The results of this meeting and the proposals of the detailed programme of the jubilee at the level of the CRE will be presented to the Council of the CRE soon, and will then be communicated to all the Units.
